Nature’a antibiotic.

Description

Propolis, or ‘bee glue’, is a sticky resinous substance produced by honey bees from different plant sources such as leaves, flowers, and bud exudates, modified by bee secretions and wax. It is collected from plants in a non-destructive way. Bees employ it to smooth out internal walls, seal cracks in the hives, as well as to defend the colony against infections due to its high antimicrobial properties and support their immunity. Therefore, bees use propolis to maintain their health and keep their hive sterile.

Propolis has various biological and pharmacological properties, attracting intense interest in its medicinal applications. With more than 300 biological active phytochemicals, Propolis is a complex, highly active, antibiotic, antiviral, antifungal, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory agent. This natural antibiotic is the most scientifically studied of all beehive products and is becoming increasingly important in the treatment of compromised immune systems, especially where there is resistance to man-made antibiotics. Propolis is often taken at the beginning of winter or when there is prior knowledge of a hospital stay or travel by air. It is an ideal addition to the home medicine cabinet and has the added benefit of being analgesic when applied externally to wounds, stings, and skin trauma.

The Salvita ethanolic propolis extracts are made from the highest grade raw propolis that is ethically and sustainably harvested from holistically managed honeybees in pristine mountain apiaries in the Southern Western Cape Peninsula and Klein Karoo. The chemical and bioactive characteristics of propolis are highly dependent on its geographical origin. This optimised, ultraconcentrated formulation of propolis allows consumers to reap the full benefits of its unique biological properties.

I am suffering for years from allergies, hay fever and sinusitis. I sneeze constantly and always have a running nose. I have tried various products without success.
Since I started using this drops, my allergies disappeared and I can only give this product a 5-star rating. It is highly recommended!
