Bio-identical progesteroneĀ supplementation is a type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT). The progesterone in creams can effectively travel through the skin and into the bloodstream.
Bio-identical progesterone is NOT the same as the pharmaceutical progestogens or progestins – these are not progesterone, but rather a synthetic version of the real thing, with possible side effects.
Indications for progesterone supplementation:

How to use bio-identical progesterone cream
A good time is in the morning after showering but evening also good.
Recommended dose is 0.5 ā 1mg cream per day but one needs to find one’s own dose – either higher or lower than suggested.
The jar contains 1500mg of 3% progesterone and 1ml cream contains 30mg progesterone so jar should last up to 2 months.
Where do you rub the cream?
The cream is rubbed into the soft areas of the body such as:
Inner arms, inner thighs, face and neck, breasts, back of the knees etc. Anywhere the skin is soft. Use on rotational basis, 2 or 3 days in each spot so as to avoid accumulation of progesterone under the skin in one spot.
