Curcumin in a non-solubilised form is poorly absorbed, only 3 to 5 % is able to be utilized by the body. Our patented process increases that to over 40% bio-availability.

Curcumin Bio combines our “Heat-Solubilized” curcumin with Phosphatidylcholine, which is a major constituent of cell membranes and is more commonly found in the exoplasmic or outer leaflet of a cell membrane. It is thought to be transported between membranes within the cell by phosphatidylcholine transfer protein (PCTP). Phosphatidylcholine helps get curcumin into the cells where it can have the most benefit rather than only being in blood plasma.

Curcumin, a polyphenol natural compound extracted from the plant Curcuma longa L., is commonly used as spice in India and Southeast Asia and traditionally used for its proven benefit in inflammatory disorders.
