Description
Ivermectin is a Food and Drug Administration-approved broad-spectrum anti-parasitic agent, initially approved for humans in 1987 to treat onchocerciasis (river blindness) and awarded the Nobel Prize of Medicine to the discoverers in 2015.
Its primary use is treating infections caused by roundworm parasites. However, over the years, the spectrum was extended to include a variety of parasitic skin infections, such as scabies.
In the last decade, several in vitro studies have shown its antiviral activity against a broad range of viruses, mainly RNA viruses, including HIV, influenza, and several flaviviruses such as Dengue virus, Zika, and West Nile Virus.
Ivermectin has anti-inflammatory properties.
With its good safety profile, ivermectin is a potential treatment against COVID-19 in its different stages.
Recommended use of Ivermectin:
Take according to weight as prescribed by your healthcare practitioner.
Ivermectin is generally recommended to be taken on an empty stomach with water, typically at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal.
When using Ivermectin as a parasitic cleanse Salvita Humic acid capsules should be taken throughout the regimen as binders of parasitic toxins, but also to ensure good and regular bowel movements to get rid of the parasites. The humic acid will also restore gut balance and change the pH so that parasites don’t flourish.
If using Ivermectin for flu viruses you may like to add Viral Care.
